• Norfolk-based manufacturer shortlisted for industry-leading award
• Foster and Gamko shortlisted for ACR News Award
• Foster Coldstores also nominated for King’s Lynn Mayor’s Business Awards
Foster Refrigerator and sister brand, Gamko, have been shortlisted for a major refrigeration industry award.
The King’s-Lynn-based professional refrigeration brands are both finalists in this year’s ACR News Awards, set up to honour technological and environmental successes in the sector.
Foster is shortlisted in the Environmental Product of the Year Award category, for its new +stayclear condenser which hit the market last month, and is designed to help dramatically reduce maintenance costs of professional food refrigerators.
Gamko, which makes professional-standard drinks coolers for bars and restaurants, has been selected as a finalist in the Refrigeration Product of Year category, for its ECO-Line E3 Drinks Cooler, launched recently.
Adding to these accolades, Foster Coldstores division is also nominated in the Business of the Year Category of the Mayor’s Business Awards, in association with Lynn News.
Results of the ACR News Awards will be announced at a ceremony in London in February, with the Mayor’s Business Awards given out in March, at The Lynn Corn Exchange. Foster’s Head of Marketing Nick Bamber said: “We are thrilled to have made the final in these prestigious awards. Foster and Gamko are making huge strides in energy saving technologies, and such awards showcase both the great products we are bringing to the market, and the hard work and skills of our workforce in Norfolk.”
